Why these ingredients

We don't pick ingredients to pad the list.
We pick them for what they bring.

At Cell Precision® we distinguish two things. Where science and the European Union have validated an effect —vitamins, minerals, omega-3 and proteins— we tell you what each nutrient brings using the exact words the regulation allows, and we show you the EFSA opinion behind it. Where the evidence is still under evaluation —our botanicals— we prefer to be transparent and promise you nothing.

How to read this page: the highlighted sentences are EU-authorised health claims. Below each block you'll find the reference of the EFSA scientific opinion.

Only in CellCore™ capsules

Omega-3 (DHA and EPA)

252 mg of DHA · 288 mg of EPA+DHA per daily dose (6 capsules), from fish oil.

What it brings
  • DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function.
  • DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
  • EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart.
Why we include it this way

These effects can only be communicated when the product provides at least 250 mg per day: 250 mg of DHA for brain and vision, and 250 mg of EPA+DHA for the heart. We formulate CellCore™ above that threshold (252 mg of DHA; 288 mg of EPA+DHA) so the claim has real, not token, backing.

Scientific backing

EFSA Journal 2010;8(10):1734 (DHA · brain and vision) · EFSA Journal 2010;8(10):1796 (EPA and DHA · heart). Authorised by Regulation (EU) 432/2012.

Not applicable to CellCore Plus™: the powder provides 105 mg of DHA, below the 250 mg threshold.

Only in CellCore Plus™

Proteins (pea and rice)

7 g of protein per serving (20 g). Product "high in protein".

What it brings
  • Proteins contribute to a growth in muscle mass.
  • Proteins contribute to the maintenance of muscle mass.
  • Proteins contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.
Why we include it this way

We combine pea and rice protein for a plant-based intake. These claims can only be used when the product is at least a "source of protein"; CellCore Plus™ reaches "high in protein".

Scientific backing

EFSA Journal 2010;8(10):1811 (proteins · muscle mass and bones). Authorised by Regulation (EU) 432/2012.

In both products

Vitamin C

100 mg per serving (125% of NRV).

What it brings
  • Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
  • Vitamin C contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
  • Vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
  • Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, bones, gums and blood vessels.
Why we include it this way

We provide vitamin C in a significant amount (125% of the Nutrient Reference Value) so these claims are grounded on the label.

Scientific backing

EFSA NDA Panel opinions: EFSA Journal 2009;7(9):1226 and 2010;8(10):1815. Authorised by Regulation (EU) 432/2012.

In both products

Vitamin D

CellCore™: 100 µg (2000% NRV) · CellCore Plus™: 25 µg (500% NRV).

What it brings
  • Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
  • Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.
  • Vitamin D contributes to normal muscle function.
  • Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus.
Why we include it this way

Vitamin D is one of the micronutrients most often below the recommended intake. We include it in a significant amount to support these normal functions of the body.

Scientific backing

EFSA NDA Panel opinions: EFSA Journal 2009;7(9):1227 and 2010;8(2):1468. Authorised by Regulation (EU) 432/2012.

In both products

Zinc

CellCore™: 15 mg (150% NRV) · CellCore Plus™: 10 mg (100% NRV).

What it brings
  • Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
  • Zinc contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
  • Zinc contributes to normal cognitive function.
  • Zinc has a role in the process of cell division.
Why we include it this way

Zinc takes part in many cellular functions. The claim on cell division connects directly with the brand's philosophy of cellular precision.

Scientific backing

EFSA NDA Panel opinions: EFSA Journal 2009;7(9):1229 and 2010;8(10):1819. Authorised by Regulation (EU) 432/2012.

In both products

Selenium

55 µg per serving (100% NRV).

What it brings
  • Selenium contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
  • Selenium contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
  • Selenium contributes to the normal function of the thyroid.
Why we include it this way

We include selenium at 100% NRV to complement vitamin C and zinc for normal immune function and cellular protection from oxidative stress.

Scientific backing

EFSA NDA Panel opinions: EFSA Journal 2009;7(9):1220 and 2010;8(10):1727. Authorised by Regulation (EU) 432/2012.

In both products · as bisglycinate

Magnesium

CellCore™: 140 mg (37% NRV) · CellCore Plus™: 150 mg (40% NRV).

What it brings
  • Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
  • Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function.
  • Magnesium contributes to normal function of the nervous system and normal psychological function.
  • Magnesium contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Why we include it this way

We chose magnesium bisglycinate as the form in the formula. Magnesium adds up alongside vitamin C for the tiredness and fatigue reduction claim.

Only in CellCore Plus™

Fibre (inulin and acacia)

8.3 g of fibre per serving (20 g). Product "high in fibre".

Why we include it this way

"High in fibre" is a nutrition claim based on quantity (more than 6 g of fibre per 100 g), not a health claim. That's why we give you the number transparently and don't attribute a specific effect to it. We don't use the inulin bowel-function claim because it requires 12 g per day and our dose is lower.

Scientific backing

Nutrition claim "high in fibre" per Regulation (EC) 1924/2006 (annex). Not a health claim.

Transparency

The botanicals in our formula

American ginseng · ginger · green tea (with L-theanine and EGCG) · brewer's yeast with beta-glucans.

These extracts are part of the identity of the Cell Precision® formula. We select them for their characteristic composition —ginsenosides, gingerols, green-tea catechins, L-theanine and beta-glucans— and we declare them on the label with total transparency, with the exact amount per serving.

That said, the European Union is still evaluating the health claims for most botanicals. While that process remains open, at Cell Precision® we have decided not to attribute any health benefit to them. We prefer to tell you only what has been validated and be honest about what has not.

If one day the evidence and regulation support an effect of these ingredients, we will be the first to tell you, with the scientific reference in hand. Until then, we give you the facts, not promises.

Our methodology

Backed facts, not promises.

Every health claim on this website comes from the EU register of authorised health claims and is used respecting its conditions of use. Behind each one there is a scientific opinion from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). We don't use isolated studies to hint at benefits that the EU has not validated.
